Fennel Seed

Description

Fennel seed are herbaceous plants (from 0.6 to 2m in height) and have long lives. The core effect of this seed is treating outside conditions such as stomach upset, bloating, runny nose, etc. Besides, they are diuretic to increase urine flow and additional substances for appetite stimulation.

Origin

Fennel seeds are also called anises and belong to the Hoa canopy family.

Features

These herbaceous plants live for 2 years or many years with solid roots, smooth stems, greenish colors, and slight notches. The leaves have developed sheaths and the blade may cut feathers four times into strands.

Double canopy inflorescence glows in axils and branches. The canopy carries many small green flowers. The fruits, on the other hand, are small and oblong. They turn from blue to brown. Mostly the trees are grown in Italy and France, especially in the Mediterranean as wild plants.

Fruits contain a crucial amount of essential oils and these oils contain 60% of Anethol, Estragol, and Carbur Terpenes. Terpenic Keaton is also Fanchon. The fruit also has vitamins (A, B8, B9, and C) and minerals (Ca, P, K, S, and Fe). In the root, it has 0.3% of fat.

Fennel seeds have a spicy taste and a warm character. Moreover, they affect the taste of diffusing and dissolving. People use these seeds as a general tonic to stimulate digestion, diuretics, milk gums, and menstruation. They also loosen sputum, antispasmodic, and laxatives (except worms). Leaves can heal wounds while roots can become good seasoning, diuretic treatment, and menstrual regulation.
